It’s been an unparalleled time recently; we wanted to write an updated News post about our CQC ‘Outstanding’ Bristol home care services and Covid-19 with a specific view from the CEO chair about how Premier Homecare has responded.
Judith Swindells, pictured above, is Premier Homecare’s Co-Founder and Registered Manager, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in professional healthcare and domiciliary care in both in-home and hospital settings.
Judith had the following comments to make, after an incredibly busy period managing both private clients and our care teams in Bristol, as well as liaising with regional organisations and giving industry interviews to Sky News.
“We’d like to reassure our private clients, Premier Homecare has been providing and continues to provide a very safe, consistent service to our clients and importantly our care workers. We have, on a daily basis, kept up-to-date with all Government guidelines relating to the provision of social care and support, in particular GOV.UK guidelines in respect of homecare provision. This Public Health England guidance has included the level and type of PPE homecare providers should be using, along with the social distancing measures we should all be adhering to; all of which has been communicated with, and issued to, our staff.
We are pleased to say our planning has meant we have a certain amount of availability within our rotas to accommodate additional care visits for new clients seeking care at home or those wishing to extend existing care packages. Please contact our office by phone or email if you have increased needs or are looking for care at home for a relative or loved one.
We’ve been successful in recruiting some great additional care staff to cope with increased and ongoing demand during this Covid-19 pandemic. We are ensuring the quality, training and support to our care workers will not falter during this period.
Premier Homecare maintains the highest standard at all times, and is providing exceptional client care through personal home care services, mainly to the elderly, as well as our help-desk support service, to ensure that both clients and care staff are fully supported.
I’m so proud of our whole team. We are all working tirelessly together, with one main focus - Premier Homecare will always be providing outstanding private home care services, which will ensure our existing clients continue to get the very best and safest home care services during this time.”
