We are currently recruiting for a Live In Carer to join our team supporting a lovely married couple in Bristol.

This person must hold a full, valid driving licence and preferably have access to their own car (car available if required).

Your role will be to enable this couple to continue to live safely and independently in their own home.

The gentleman is a former GP of good standing in Bristol, worked as a GP for 65 years. He has a wonderful sense of humour, enjoys outings, including going to the local pub for lunch, visiting his Golf Club to chat with friends, he loves good homecooked food and keeping up with the News and Current Events.

His wife is a former Physio Therapist, sadly she has Dementia, but, she is unaware she has this, she believes she is still able to do everything she was always able to do and still does so, but sadly, these are things she has done in the past, but now does not do. Your task with this lady, is to monitor her discreetly, make a note of any concerns and address them as needed with support of your Supervisor, Head Office and the family.

In time you will aim to build trust and friendship with the clients, enjoying living in their very special centuries old cottage with them.

You will need to be confident driver, a good home cook, and enjoy socialising with your clients.

In exchange for your work you will receive a competitive Live-In Care salary. This which is £1169 per week (including food allowance), plus additional holiday pay and mileage whilst on duty.

The pattern of work would be 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. In addition, we will ensure you have a two hour break each day. You will also have your own room and bed to provide you with a comfortable space of your own.

There will always be constant and supportive back-up from our local, friendly and experienced Care Team.
