As Bristol's only Care Quality Commission (CQC) 'Outstanding' Safe homecare and Live-In Care provider, we are acutely aware of making our services as COVID-Safe as possible.
Vaccination Update
ALL Premier Homecare staff have now been offered their first COVID vaccine. Uptake has been good and we are proud to feedback this stage of the vaccination programme is now complete.
Phase 2 of this care staff vaccination programme should be complete by the end of April 2021.
For your safety and reassurance, Premier Homecare, in line with government and health advice, is maintaining weekly COVID-19 tests to its Bristol care workers, including office staff and Live-In carers.
All staff have been given COVID-19 self-testing kits, which can be used quickly and easily at home and work.
The self-testing kits give full results usually within 48 hours, and any positive results will mean a member of staff will self-isolate for the required 10-day period, to ensure there is no spread of the virus.
This weekly testing option offers an extra layer of safety for both carers and clients. Here at Premier Homecare, our commitment to providing a COVID-safe care environment remains one of the main priorities in our day-to-day operations.
In Safe Hands
Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission we are a local, experienced, caring, friendly and dedicated team with a reputation in Bristol for providing care of the highest standards to our privately funded clients.
Our safety measures
All other existing and well-established COVID-19 safety measures are still firmly in place, including:
Full provision of PPE to all carers and office staff
Social distancing during all client calls and office visits
Extra sanitisation of touchpoints for additional cleanliness
Hand washing routines are maximised on a daily basis
We have also asked that all visitors to clients’ homes are kept at a minimum, to reduce the possibility of COVID-19 spreading further amongst vulnerable people in Bristol.
The additional measures above will be ongoing and in place until advised otherwise by the Government and NHS.
