The New Year is here, and some clients have been asking us how will Bristol home care be impacted by Omicron in 2022?
In light of the recent increase in the infection rate of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, we would like to assure all of our clients and care assistants Premier Homecare will continue to follow all recommended safety and PPE requirements to ensure we keep everyone safe.
We also wanted to thank all of our clients and care assistants for helping to make 2021 the best it could have been, despite the difficulties the Covid variants brought.
Staff have been amazing and remained vigilant throughout the whole year.
Our carers have often worked extra hours to ensure that our private home care services in Bristol were not seriously impacted by Covid-19.
Many care staff have also covered extra shifts, to help us maintain an outstanding level of home care services across Bristol.
Premier Homecare is proud to say that at the end of 2021, not a single client visit was missed by a care assistant due to Covid-19 or any other illness issues.
We are confident that this spirit and dedication will continue during 2022, despite the concerns being raised by the spread of the Omicron variant.
Clients have been understanding and have followed Government guidance.
There has been a heavy demand for our home care services, and as of this month, we are giving our care assistants a 16% pay increase. This also extends to new staff joining us, as well as existing staff.
